A South African art exhibition called The Art of Hemp will be featuring hemp as an art supply. The artists, Willem Snyman, is not widely known, but the aim of the the event is to exhibit a visual artist that has not yet received much commercial attention. As the press release explains:
The Artspace and Worldart mentorship programme presents its third exhibition for 2008.
Entitled Ecosphere, this exhibition sees artist Willem Snyman present a body of work that explores environmental concerns through the use of Hemp and landscape imagery.

The exhibition will open on 18 October at 17h30 at Worldart, 95 Commissioner Street, Johannesburg. It will run until 15th November 2008.
